What We Have Done So Far
Since forming the Oneness Seva Group, we’ve been overwhelmed by the community’s warmth and participation.
Here’s what we’ve proudly achieved so far

Seniors Christmas Lunch
The Oneness Seva Group, with the Centre for Oneness, hosts an annual Elderly Christmas Lunch, bringing joy to over 300 guests. Supported by local dignitaries, it offers isolated seniors a festive meal, entertainment, and companionship, fostering community and connection.

Big Spring Clean
The Oneness Seva Group took part in the Big Spring Clean, joining Sandwell Council and SERCO for a community litter pick. Volunteers of all ages came together to tidy local streets, promote civic pride, and help create a cleaner, greener neighbourhood.

Kings Coronation Charity Event
In 2023, the Oneness Seva Group hosted a King’s Coronation charity event, raising over £2,000 for MIND. The day’s activities, games, and food stalls brought the community together to support mental health and celebrate together.

Self Defence Class
In 2025, the Oneness Seva Group delivered an eight-week self-defence programme for seniors in partnership with Sparta Krav Maga IKMF. The sessions built confidence, strength, and practical safety skills, while promoting social interaction and empowering older residents.

Tree Plantation Event
In 2025, the Oneness Seva Group, in partnership with Sandwell Council & TCV, planted 1,000 trees to help make the community greener. Residents of all ages joined in to improve the environment, enjoy the outdoors, and strengthen community connections, leaving a positive impact for years to come.

Nutrition & Wellbeing
Our Wellbeing and Healthy Eating workshops helped participants learn practical tips for a balanced diet, mindful living, and overall wellness, empowering them to make healthier choices and improve their quality of life.
